David Chyuwei, DDS
Dr. Chyuwei completed his Bachelors of Science from the University of California at Davis and graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.
Community service has been prevalent throughout Dr. Chyuwei’s career. He served as a leader for volunteer service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega for a period of four years where he provided basic healthcare and collected supplies to provide for underserved populations of Yolo County. He continued his efforts in San Francisco for an additional three years by utilizing his dental skills to provide oral healthcare for San Francisco’s homeless population. Dr. Chyuwei enjoys giving his time to both underserved adults and children. Throughout his career, he has also visited multiple schools from elementary to highschool to lecture about oral hygiene and the importance of daily maintenance and preventive dental care.
Dr. Chyuwei’s dedication to his community made returning to the Peninsula an easy choice. Born and raised in Mtn. View, Ca he decided to open Tooth Spa in his hometown area and utilize his experiences from the field and from five different dental office associations to create a perfect family based practice. Dr. Chyuwei has provided for a diverse population of all age ranges and welcomes families with a variety of needs. He provides basic and emergency services but believes his major contribution to patients is in providing comprehensive care and in developing life long relationships with patients.
Dr. Chyuwei maintains a member of good standing with the ADA, CDA and Santa Clara Dental Association. Also, he has had advanced training in Invisalign, Lumineers, Material Science and Technology.

Grace Chyuwei, DDS
Dr. Grace Chyuwei graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior with Honors from the University of California at Davis. She continued to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of California at San Francisco, one of the leading dental programs in the country.
As a top five student at UCSF, Dr. Chyuwei was recognized as a Regent Scholar. Furthermore, her dedication to leadership, community service, professionalism, and research discoveries on facial deformities in child development were acknowledged by the California Dental Association’s prestigious Senior Award, the Pierre Fauchard Dental Honor Society Award, and multiple awards and abstract publication by the American Association of Dental Research. As a student, Dr. Chyuwei served as President and representative to the American Student Dental Association for four consecutive years.
She continues the tradition of dental awareness and service as a charter member of Delta Sigma Delta and member of the ADA, CDA and Santa Clara Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Chyuwei has volunteered at UCSF for three years to lecture on restorative dentistry. To add to her knowledge base, Dr. Chyuwei has also received advance certification for Invisalign orthodontics, excels in Lumineers and Cosmetics, and has completed advance courses in Endodontics through the Las Vegas Institute.
As a member of the Peninsula community for over 30 years, Dr. Grace Chyuwei co- established the Tooth Spa in 2003 to bring an advanced family health practice to her neighbors. She respects the importance of quality care by keeping abreast with new technologies and research. Most importantly, Dr. Chyuwei understands the concept of communication, time, and trust to provide a comprehensive family health care facility.

Sandra Cisneros, DA and Treatment Coordinator
Sandra began her career in the dental profession 11 years ago. She has communicated with over 5000 patients in three different family dental clinics finding her final home at Toothspa for the last 5 years. Sandra assists patients to understand the course of their treatment and follows through to assure all questions are answered for a comfortable visit. With rapidly changing dental advances, Sandra has kept abreast with new techniques and technologies through advanced continuing education. Recently she has attended several courses on communication with adults and children to provide the best service to her patients. Her passion lies in years of knowing patients, their families, and their friends. Sandra is fluent in English and Spanish. She currently dedicates her full time to working with Drs. David and Grace Chyuwei and also manages to raise her five kids, husband, and a baby Chihuahua.

Lorena Thompson, DA
Lorena has been a dental assistant for the past 6 years. In this time, she actively engaged in providing a peaceful and warm environment for dental care. She has two beautiful daughters Jasmine (age 9) and Scarlett (age 5) and understands the importance of gentle comprehensive family care. Lorena also commits to her profession though attending continuing education courses on advancements in dental health and often attends conferences with both doctors to assist in achieving efficient advanced care. In addition, along with the Toothspa team, Lorena visits local schools to educate and provide low income family dental screenings. Ultimately, Lorena aspires to pursue a hygiene or dental degree.
