 Judy was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She immigrated to the U.S. with her family when she was 6 years old.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from UCLA in March 2001.

While in college she spent four months studying abroad in Alcala, Spain, taking classes in Spanish.

After trying to find her niche in different fields, she decided to pursue a Dental Assisting certificate as a stepping stone to ultimately pursuing a Dental Hygiene certificate.

While in Dental Assisting school at San Jose City College, she participated in teaching oral health to elementary school children.

She graduated from Dental Assisting school in December 2009 at the top of her class.

She received her RDA license in November 2010.

She has volunteered as an assistant for Tzu Chi foundation, a volunteer organization, providing free dental care to underprivileged populations.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her twin nephews, Adnan and Saleh, and the youngest, Ishaq. She is a part of a group that practices speaking in Spanish every Tuesday at Peets Coffee in Mountain View.
